Sakal and Herald, Maharashtra's 2 leading newspapers organized this event in the month of February 2005.
The event focused on the growing problem of pollution in the city and discussions about better living and wellness were also done. Dr.Dilip Sarda the founder of The Pune Cycle Pratisthan (an environmentalist bicycle riders group in Pune) invited team Ride2026 to educate the masses about the benefits of Mountain Biking and Cycling in its whole. After all the blah blah the 2026 riders hopped on the stage and did a small demo, which left the viewers spellbound. The attendees also got free rides on the Team bikes.
